Manu Caddie shares (at 1:16:43) some of the vision for FairCann at the International Cannabis Policy Conference in Vienna, December 2018.
The 61st Session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs this week in Vienna will see the World Health Organisation announce the outcome of the review of the legal status of cannabis within the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs.
Following the announcement at the UN, the International Cannabis Policy Conference next door includes a panel featuring Jonathan Zaid, Director of Advocacy and Corporate Social Responsibility at Aurora Cannabis, Michalis Theodoropoulos, the President of Kannabio Hemp Cooperative in Greece, Simon Anderfuhren-Biget from Cannareg in Switzerland and Manu Caddie from Hikurangi Cannabis (and FairCann).
The topic of the panel discussion is: “ARE CANNABIS POLICY CHANGES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ENHANCED ETHICAL MARKETS & INCREASED SOCIAL JUSTICE?” – paying particular attention to the opportunities the cannabis industry presents to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
